Before Northeast Wrestling's historic Brass City Brawl event this Friday in Waterbury, CT, N.E.W. president Michael Lombardi chats with Graham "GSM" Matthews on the latest WrestleRant Radio to talk Jon Moxey's N.E.W. debut and how it came to be, why the summer season is their busiest of the year, the formation of the promotion and what makes it different than everything else out there in wrestling right now, how it's evolved into what it is today, bringing "fun" back to pro wrestling, the dream matches as well as all the star power they've hosted over the years, what has brought Moxley and Cody Rhodes to N.E.W., if more wrestling companies would benefit from working together, the greatest homegrown talent in their history, why the launch of AEW is good for wrestling overall, goals he has with N.E.W., why fans who aren't familiar with the product should check it out, and much more!
Stay tuned until the end of the episode for GSM's two quick cents on the atrocity that was Super ShowDown, how there were virtually no highlights from Raw or SmackDown Live, Chad Gable joining 205 Live, and the best bouts on WWE TV this week.

The third consecutive wrestling-filled weekend featured WWE NXT TakeOver: XXV, and once again, Graham "GSM" Matthews was in attendance! Also there was Sal Dangelo, and on this week's WrestleRant Radio, they're giving their on-site report from the critically-acclaimed event! After briefly discussing Jon Moxley recently winning the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship and what's next for him on the independent scene, they get into their thoughts on the matches taped for NXT TV, Matt Riddle and Roderick Strong contesting a classic in the opener, The Street Profits finally becoming the NXT Tag Team Champions in a hell of a Ladder match, Tyler Breeze proving his worth against NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream, Shayna Baszler and Io Shirai clashing for the NXT Women's Championship and if Shirai can take the title in Toronto, the outstanding NXT Championship main event between Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano, and why there is no need for any more main roster call-ups as long as Raw and SmackDown Live are as lifeless as they are.
Plus, they're previewing Friday's WWE Super ShowDown pay-per-view and offering predictions for every match on the card! Hear their thoughts on why the entire event is a massive waste of time (and who won't be on hand for it), the mess that is bound to be the 50-man Battle Royal and who could realistically win it, the return of The Demon and why he isn't losing in Saudi Arabia, if Brock Lesnar will actually cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, the Shane McMahon vs. Roman Reigns rivalry, who wins between The Undertaker and Goldberg, and much more!

For the second straight week, Graham "GSM" Matthews is giving an on-site report of an incredible event on WrestleRant Radio, this time with RJ Marceau for All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing pay-per-view event in Las Vegas! After talking their time in Sin City last weekend, the boys break down the show and give their thoughts on Adam Page winning the Casino Battle Royale, Sammy Guervara impressing against Kip Sabian, SoCal Uncensored's six-man tag team match with Strong Hearts, Awesome Kong's debut, Best Friends vs. Angelico and Jack Evans and the strange post-match attack from the Super Smash Bros (who?), what was wrong with the six-woman tag team bout, the unveiling of the AEW World Championship and why MJF was the MVP of this show, if Cody and Dustin Rhodes lived up to the hype, why The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Brothers was the match of the night, Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho underwhelming ever so slightly, and the big reaction to Jon Moxley's AEW arrival.
From there, GSM and RJ give their FULL PREDICTIONS for Saturday's highly anticipated NXT TakeOver: XXV event and talk why Roderick Strong is one of WWE's most underrated athletes, Tyler Breeze returning to the black-and-gold brand to vie for Velveteen Dream's NXT North American Championship, if it's finally Io Shirai's time to become NXT Women's Champion, who will walk out the new NXT Tag Team Champions, Johnny Gargano's chances of successfully defending the NXT Championship against Adam Cole, and much more!

Graham "GSM" Matthews and Alexis DiGiacomo were in attendance for last Sunday's eventful WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view in Hartford, and they're talking all about it on the latest WrestleRant Radio! They discuss how the experience compared to WrestleMania 35, missing the Kickoff show entirely, the excellent women's Money in the Bank Ladder match and Bayley's big win, Rey Mysterio unseating Samoa Joe as United States Champion in quick fashion and what the future holds for the star-spangled prize, Shane McMahon barely beating The Miz in their Steel Cage match and why their feud desperately needs to end, the Cruiserweight Championship clash between Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari and what WWE needs to do to get my eyes on 205 Live.
From there, GSM and Alexis break down Becky Lynch's back-to-back title defenses and what was wrong with each of them, if this is the end of the line for Lacey Evans in the Raw Women's Championship picture and who else could face Lynch for the gold this summer, Bayley cashing in her contract on Charlotte Flair to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion and how this could be a turning point for her stale character, Roman Reigns vs. Elias being a waste of time, Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens meeting for the WWE Championship (and why Dolph Ziggler was rushed into championship contention on the subsequent SmackDown Live), Seth Rollins and AJ Styles contesting a classic, the polarizing conclusion to the men's Money in the Bank Ladder match, why Brock Lesnar with the briefcase is not what's best for business, and much more!

Ahead of Money in the Bank this weekend, Jonn Ritland returns to WrestleRant Radio to help Graham "GSM" Matthews preview the pay-per-view as well as break down the current state of wrestling outside of WWE! The duo give their two cents on the Best of the Super Juniors tournament going on right now in New Japan Pro Wrestling, who might return to face Juice Robinson, why Chris Jericho shouldn't win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and who should beat Kazuchika Okada for the belt instead, women that might end up in All Elite Wrestling, the highs and lows of G1 Supercard, problems IMPACT and Ring of Honor are dealing with, and why you should be supporting your local independent wrestling shows.
Plus, stay tuned for their FULL PREDICTIONS for Money in the Bank! They're talking Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio facing off in a WrestleMania rematch for the United States Championship, why the Elias vs. Roman Reigns rivalry has fallen flat, The Miz battling Shane McMahon in a Steel Cage match, Becky Lynch pulling double duty, who they think will win each briefcase, why both world title matches are bound to end in controversy, if we'll see Bray Wyatt return at any point during the evening, and much more!

Graham "GSM" Matthews once again puts the "rant" in this week's WrestleRant Radio as he gives his scathing thoughts on the current state of WWE coming off the introduction of the new "Wild Card Rule" on Raw. GSM doesn't seem to think it will work long-term and goes in depth with why he believes the current product it suffering. From a lack of new stars being made and extremely poor creative, the Raw ratings are dying a death and will not change any time soon. He's also discussing why WWE is better off with a Brand Split and the disadvantages of getting rid of it, Raw reaching a new low, a loaded roster they're not doing anything with at the moment, why ratings are so low compared to a decade ago, and matches he'd like to see live at NXT TakeOver: XXV in Bridgeport, CT.
During his formal reviews of Raw and SmackDown Live from this past week, GSM talks the latest burial of The Revival, stars showing up on the opposite brand for no apparent reason, AJ Styles continuing to tease a heel turn, Sami Zayn entering a feud with Braun Strowman, the women receiving very little TV time, WrestleMania rematches on Raw, Daniel Bryan and Rowan winning the vacant SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Ember Moon losing clean in tag team action, and much more!

WrestleRant Radio - May 2, 2019: Jon Moxley Is Back, But Where Will He Land?
Thursday May 02, 2019
Thursday May 02, 2019
Graham "GSM" Matthews opens WrestleRant Radio this week with his immediate reaction to Avengers: Endgame and why it just might be one of the greatest movies of this generation. He then has plenty to say about Jon Moxley's (f.k.a. Dean Ambrose) surprise return to Twitter and what the future looks like for him on the independent scene. Where will he go first? What are the odds he shows up at AEW Double or Nothing later this month? And are we positively sure his WWE departure isn't a work?
Also, in case you haven't heard, WWE's Superstar Shake-up is STILL going on, with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson now on Raw and The B-Team on SmackDown Live. GSM gives his ranting thoughts on the inconsistency in WWE these days along with The Revival reportedly turning down new deals and how they were subsequently buried on Raw, an update on Luke Harper and WWE extending his contract a few more months, the confirmed fields for the Money in the Bank Ladder matches, thoughts on IMPACT's Rebellion pay-per-view event and Michael Elgin's debut, and much more!
