Before breaking down Sunday's WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Graham "GSM" Matthews kicks off WrestleRant Radio with some news and notes from the past week in wrestling including 205 Live moving to Wednesday nights and whether it will help the brand at all, Alexa Bliss dropping out of Mixed Match Challenge, Rey Mysterio signing a two-year deal with WWE (for real this time), Madison Rayne signing with Ring of Honor and why WWE should have picked her up, former IMPACT star Mahabali Shera being released from WWE while Andrew Everett leaves IMPACT, Shane Helms visiting the WWE Performance Center as a guest trainer, and Matt Hardy teasing in-ring retirement.
From there, GSM gives his full thoughts on Hell in a Cell and discusses the extreme Hell in a Cell match between Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton, Becky Lynch winning her second SmackDown Women's Championship, the Raw tag team division being given new life thanks to two teams, Samoa Joe coming close to capturing the WWE Championship, Brock Lesnar making a surprise return, and why Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman was one of the worst Hell in a Cell matches in many years.

From there, he gives his ranting review of Raw and discusses how Braun Strowman's heel run is already off to a less-than-stellar start, the returns of Triple H and Mick Foley, WWE hurting their heels by having them get squashed by The Shield, Bobby Roode seemingly turn heel soon, Kevin Owens' explanation for "quitting" Raw, Finn Balor being directionless, and the poor hype for Hell in a Cell.
Thankfully, GSM is more positive on the SmackDown Live front, talking about the unique continuation of the AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe feud, Shinsuke Nakamura being marginalized as United States Champion, Rusev Day becoming the new No. 1 contenders to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Vince McMahon reportedly being high on Andrade "Cien" Almas and his plans for him, and the chaotic close to the show.

From who will be announcing the matches to which notable names have recently been added to the brackets, he gives an early preview of what to expect from the star-studded women's tournament.
In his review of Raw, GSM pulls no punches about the current dreadful state of the show including a boring Baron Corbin vs. Roman Reigns match, why 50/50 booking doesn't do anyone any favors, why Bobby Roode defeating Mojo Rawley accomplished nothing, a rare mention of Dean Ambrose, the return of Ruby Riott, Paul Heyman's brilliant performance (in addition to thoughts on why he and Brock Lesnar shouldn't be split up) and Ronda Rousey's in-ring debut in the main event.
