After a pretty notable few days in the wrestling world, WrestleRant Radio is back to break it all down! Starting with Sunday's Battleground pay-per-view, Graham "GSM" Matthews discusses why Summer Rae and Layla are not at all like The Beautiful People in TNA, the stellar tag team title match that kicked off the show and what's next for both teams, Jack Swagger looking strong in defeat against Rusev, why Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose not happening as advertised was a good thing, how Bray Wyatt's loss to Chris Jericho did not hurt his credibility of momentum in the slightest, The Miz winning the Intercontinental Championship and why it's not as bad as everyone has made it out to be, the predictability (and enjoyment) of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship main event, and grading the event overall.
Then, GSM gets into his Raw review with thoughts on the hot angle between Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella that saw Stephanie get arrested, the awesome (no pun intended) match between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler, Paige turning heel on AJ Lee, the formation of perhaps a new Nation of Domination and how it isn't all that similar to a certain stable in TNA and Brock Lesnar returning to challenge John Cena for the title at SummerSlam.
Finally, GSM and a guest analyst sit down with Jon Soto of the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame to talk about a variety of topics including the annual events that take place during induction weekend, TNA's recent rebranding and current New York tapings, Global Force Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Bound for Glory being held in Japan this year, TNA's biggest problem at the moment, KENTA signing with WWE, WWE's next big lucha star and where Alberto Del Rio and Sin Cara went wrong, what's next for Brock Lesnar, Jack Swagger going babyface, how The Shield has been perfectly booked coming out of their breakup, ECW, wrestling entering a new era, and much more!
