WrestleRant Radio

After previewing Conor McGregor's UFC return coming up this weekend and talking Maxxine Dupri's heel turn on Raw, Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau offer their honest analysis on what's been a super eventful week in wrestling, starting with Kenny Omega beating MJF for the AEW World Championship on Dynamite. Why now and not at Redemption in Canada at the end of the month? Will it end up being a three-way with Omega, MJF and Will Ospreay at All In? Where does MJF go from here?

That leads them into their next hot topic: CM Punk returning on Raw to dethrone Sami Zayn as Undisputed WWE Champion! As cool of a moment as it was in Chicago, it also didn't make a ton of sense, and the duo discuss why. They also talk about how it could have been worse, why a heel turn for Punk should be coming and if it would work, and why all hope may not be lost for Zayn going forward.

To close out the episode, GSM and RJ share their thoughts on Sheamus leaving WWE after refusing to restructure his current deal, what's being lost in context, if he'll end up in AEW, what it says about Triple H's style of booking, and more!

There's no shortage of topics to talk about (wrestling related and otherwise!) on this week's WrestleRant Radio as Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau waste no time discussing all the latest NBA trades including LeBron James leaving the Lakers, the World Cup, what will happen when Kenny Omega challenges MJF for the AEW World Championship on next week's Dynamite, Mike Santana and Eric Young being among the rumored WWE signings, thoughts on Night of Champions and what stood out from the show, Sami Zayn finally winning the Undisputed WWE Championship and how long it will last, Oba Femi forgoing his King of the Ring title shot and facing Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam instead, Seth Rollins challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship, and more!

Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau answer a ton of fan questions to kick off this week's WrestleRant Radio including recent NBA trades, Bully Ray's controversial comments about Jon Moxley, which former WWE title holder could debut at TNA Slammiversary this Sunday, and more!

From there, they discuss Lyra Valkyria's shocking heel turn on Monday's Raw and whether it will work out for her before getting into their preview and predictions for WWE Night of Champions featuring Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker in a Steel Cage match, the bad booking of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments and who will win each one, and Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Sami Zayn and Gunther in a Triple Threat match.

Plus, GSM and RJ give their picks for AEW Forbidden Door and talk whether it's time for the concept to be retired.

On this week's WrestleRant Radio, Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau discuss the fallout from the New York Knicks winning the NBA Championship, UFC holding an event at The White House over the weekend, the latest departures from TNA and if they're an alarming sign for the company's future, what they can do (if anything) to bounce back and the possibility of a sale to WWE, reports of Rhea Ripley getting injured and how that affects SmackDown's women's division, Jack Perry's AEW contract expiring soon and rumors of him potentially being WWE bound, The Bloodline running Raw and where it's going, Jey Uso likely being the next King of the Ring, why Brock Lesnar has next to no value to WWE in 2026, and more!

Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau open WrestleRant Radio with some updated thoughts on the NBA Finals, including a crazy finish to last night's Knicks vs. Spurs game. They also discuss the CM Punk "rumors" from the last few days, when he's expected to be back and what he'll be doing going into SummerSlam, Chad Gable returning on Raw and how WWE can capitalize on his hot momentum, if WWE will ever pull the trigger on a world title win for LA Knight, how far Jey Uso has fallen, WWE's hesitation to push new names to the top of the card, updated picks for the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, and more!

Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau have New York Knicks fever on this week's WrestleRant Radio... okay, at least GSM does, but they do have a lot to say about the ongoing NBA Finals and if the Knicks have a chance of pulling it out against the San Antonio Spurs. They briefly dive into some other sports talk and react to The Don Callis Family recruiting yet another new member before breaking down El Grande Americano vs. "Original" El Grande Americano from AAA Noche de los Grandes, including what's next for both men and how it just might be WWE's best match of the year so far.

Plus, they give their in-depth analysis of WWE Clash in Italy and why it was a strong show marred by bad booking decisions. Has the landscape of WWE truly changed as Triple H declared it would? They also offer their predictions for the King and Queen of the Ring brackets and who will go on to win each one!

Graham "GSM" Matthews and RJ Marceau kick off this week's WrestleRant Radio with plenty of basketball and baseball talk before recapping AEW's critically-acclaimed Double or Nothing pay-per-view and the highlights of the night, where the AEW World Championship picture might be headed going into All In, WWE reportedly having interest in FTR and the pros and cons of them staying in AEW or leaving, thoughts on Saturday Night's Main Event and Logan Paul's injury, what happens with The Vision from here and how Austin Theory specifically is affected, and FULL PREDICTIONS for Sunday's WWE Clash in Italy premium live event featuring Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match for the World Heavyweight Championship!
